About the facility
Jacksonville Maritime Solutions boasts a floating dry dock, marine railways, ample pier space, and a crane capacity of up to 150 tons. Strategically located two miles from the Atlantic Ocean at the intersection of the St. Johns River and Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway, JMS is in a period of growth. Completed in 2025, BAE Systems' new ship lift complex has increased dry docking capacity by 300 percent, making it the most capable ship repair facility in the Southeastern United States.
