About the facility

 Operating since 1971, our Greenlawn site holds a rich legacy as both a hub of technological excellence and the largest aerospace and defense company on Long Island. The facility offers capabilities for a wide-range of C4ISR solutions such as:

Identification Friend or Foe (IFF): A world IFF leader, the Greenlawn team has delivered over 14,000 transponders, 1,500 interrogators, and 6,000 combined interrogator transponders since its inception. This mission-critical technology provides vital, time-sensitive insights that prevent friendly fire incidents, ensure mission success, and save lives in the air, on ships, and on land.

Mission Computing: Made for both aerospace and defense in fixed-wing aircraft, our advanced systems provide reliable, high performance computing solutions to enable critical airborne missions.

Optical Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR): For medium and long range missions, our optical ISR solutions equip defense customers with precise, high-resolution sensing capabilities to enhance situational awareness and mission effectiveness.

"It's the mix of everything to do for my family. From going to the beach, or heading to the local vineyards, both bring a relaxed, scenic vibe that is hard to beat. It is also close enough to New York City, where the attractions and restaurants are endless, but far enough from our home to feel like an escape from the hustle and bustle. A big attractor to moving to Long Island was also the public schools for my kids. The schools are some of the best in the country and another reason why I felt comfortable moving my family to the area.

On top of taking care of my family, I felt connected to the work being done at Greenlawn and BAE Systems. From advanced mission computing systems that are utilized for anti-submarine and anti-surface warfare to (IFF) Identification Friend or Foe, which accurately assists the warfighter in detecting potential adversaries, these products are critical to keeping people safe. Knowing that they are built here in this factory, provides a great sense of passion and commitment for what I do."
